Pester Power or Parent Power?

Put an end to child-friendly characters on unhealthy food and drink, say parents

Parents have spoken – they want to see an end to the use of popular children’s characters and brand mascots on food and drink high in fat, salt and sugar. A new report from Children’s Food Campaign and Food Active, ‘Pester Power or Parent Power?’ reveals frustrations from over 900 parents on how child-friendly characters on unhealthy food and drink packaging can cause chaos between them and their children.
